Mark A Radcliffe

Mark A Radcliffe lives in Brighton. He has worked as as a singer, psychiatric nurse, journalist and university lecturer and has an MA in Creative Writing from the University of East Anglia and a PhD from Sussex University.

Mark doesn't think of himself as a writer. He likes stories because they make sense of being human. He is interested in the space between people and how we navigate and fill that space - both GABRIEL’S ANGEL and STRANGER THAN KINDNESS are preoccupied with how people try to write themselves, as good or kind, in the face of difficulty. His books are also very funny.

Mark is currently working on his third novel. Unsurprisingly, it is about sex and death.
